People are forgetting that Diddy blacklisted her too I think… this lawsuit was to free her from all restrictions.. so I’m glad they settled! Now get rid of your hubby girl!!
Glad she settled, otherwise the lawsuit would have dragged on forever. Diddy has pissed off alot of people and this may give them to courage to file their own lawsuit.
Diddy knew them flood gates were about to open. Ppl already came out defending her & that prob made him nervous. It wasn’t a secret what he has done to her. Glad she can get past this and move forward as she should.

I’m not disappointed. SA cases only have like a 2% conviction rate, odds are never in favor of surviors and when up against powerful people like that 0%. Even when they are convicted they get a slap on the wrist. Not to mention they trial process is EXTREMELY gruelling and traumatizing. So between those odds and a financial settlement you can’t blame survivors for going with the money, it’s at least some guaranteed form of justice. I wish people would learn extremely biased this crooked ass system is against sexual assault cases and wish people would realize this and that survivors taking a settlement doesn’t mean it’s a money grab. Fuck these crooked ass people who made the system like this.

Man listen I’ll tell u like this the problem is diddy as well. Everyone focused on Cassie settling but he didn’t put in a fight himself if it’s not true. That right there says a lot. I’m not gonna let some one throw dirt on my name especially if it’s for money. We gonna fight it out cuz u ain’t getting a dime if these things “didn’t happen” I’m glad she settled. People to slow to realize she just open the gates up. After everyone who tried to bring him down I bet he didn’t think it would be her 😂

Cassie settled but I don’t think she’s safe. Yes she settled but she’s not going to be able to operate in the entertainment industry. He’s a gatekeeper. He settled because he had to protect himself and others.

Cassie did the perfect thing for herself and her family. She’s protecting her daughters with a trial that would have been of the century. All 35 pages of the lawsuit was sickening, I didn’t even know she dated Kid Cudi I thought she dated Ryan Leslie. It’s good to know he cooperated with her story and was willing to defend Cassie. Diddy’s rep will never ever be the same, and this is just the beginning. Mark my words Diddy, Trey, Jay, and Chris will be next in jail like R Kelly. Maybe not in that order, but it will happen regardless of time especially Trey up next.
You forgot to mention that she also tried to put out a tell all book that was rejected and black balled as well it was more of a financial situation than a getting justice for what he did to her. It was basically a unofficial marriage ending with spousal support and alimony without a ceremony and rings. if she really wanted to go after him it would be a criminal and not a civil lawsuit with an amount attached to it and the day she filled was last day of statue of limitations in the state of NY in regards to her case.
Outside looking in… Cassie wasn’t dumb…she knew exactly what she was doing….she knew Puffy wasn’t going to take this to court as a lot of dirt that involved a lot of people would have came out. Cassie’s legal team also knew this wasn’t going any further. Cassie got paid, she probably has some sort of freedom, and she put a dent in Mr. Combs no matter how small. Again I do think her claims were more than likely true, it’s been rumored for years he was beating her, but she put up with it until she got tired. She seems happy with Alex and she has children, and maybe just maybe a piece of her soul was bought back.
Cassie has EVERY right to make Diddy pay her for her pain that he caused. This man has been living high off the hog for about 35yrs. She deserves the money and then some. To be exploited that young by a man way more powerful than you, in an industry she truly didn’t know about is really shameful.
I think they both wanted it to be over as quick as possible. I don’t blame her for taking the money because the information he has on her would’ve been extremely stressing and embarrassing. I do feel this may be another humiliation ritual for Diddy and he’ll be able to recover after the outrage has blown over.

Cassie probably wanted it over for her and her family safety (especially her husband who always got smoke for Diddy even though Diddy is the reason he even met Cassie by hiring him). Diddy of course wanted it over because like 50 cent said, it attracts sharks to the water.
Sure they settled and we don’t know for how much, but maybe Diddy should’ve fought a little bit if he really wanted to show he was nothing to play with. Only downside is he knows he guilty of everything whether people try to shift blame back to Cassie or not, so he took the best case scenario. Hopefully he ready for all the extra people to come forward cause lord knows he’s made a few enemies.
