I believe all of this is for publicity for both of them. Megs is a little more mainstream and Moneybagg wasn’t talked or mentioned in mainstream conversations until after he started (supposedly) dating Meg. It’s making him relevant and also keeping ppl talking about Megs… which equals publicity for both him and Megs.
